Toshiba is launching several new televisions, including the UF3D 4K Smart TV with Fire TV built-in and the XA9D OLED Android TV. According to Toshiba, all three televisions deliver sharp 4K images, HDR and support for Dolby Vision. True Picture upscales sub 4k content. Integrated speakers from Onkyo should provide surround sound and support for Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual: X (UF3D and Quantum Dot Color 4K UHD Frameless). Not much information is known about it yet, but Toshiba is coming with the following new televisions:
UF3D 4K HDR Smart TV with Fire TV Built-in
The Toshiba UF3D 4K HDR Smart TVs have Amazon Fire TV built in, giving consumers instant access to all kinds of content from streaming services such as Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+. Amazon Music and Spotify, access to games content and Apple AirPlay are also available. Operation is also possible with the Alexa Voice Remote, which allows you to navigate via your voice.
XA9D OLED 4K HDR Android TV
In a higher segment we find the XA9D series. Available in 55-inch and 65-inch sizes, these OLED TVs feature thin bezels and a 100Hz panel. The manufacturer promises a rich color panel with deep black and excellent contrast. For gamers, there is an Auto Low Latency Mode as specified by the HDMI 2.1 standard. As soon as a game is detected via a game console, the TV will automatically choose this.
Quantum Dot Color 4K UHD Frameless TV Series
Finally, there’s the Quantum Dot Color 4K UHD Frameless TV Series. According to Toshiba, this model should provide unprecedented realism. This model is available in 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch. The TV has a metal stand.
