On June 25, a new TV series titled Sex / Life premiered on Netflix, based on a true story told in BB Easton’s autobiographical novel, 44 Chapters About 4 Men. It is not known whether or not the service will choose to renew it for a season 2, but keeping an eye on the Top Ten of the service we have noticed that it has managed to get on the podium until it reaches the first position (although now it has already fallen ). At the moment it is still too early to know the future of the title.
We can therefore do nothing but wait for Netflix to officially express its intentions, a condition in which we should find ourselves, at best, in a month or so. Much more likely, however, the service will choose to take longer. In any case, when it is ready, we will be too and will communicate all the news of the case, whether positive or negative.
When Sex / Life 2 season comes out
After this introduction, when does Sex / Life 2 season come out? There is still no news about it. We will first have to wait for Netflix to announce the renewal and only then can we concretely talk about a release date for the next chapter.
Whenever possible, the Big N tries to keep a gap of about a year between the release of one season and the next. We’ll see. As soon as we have more precise information on this potential second season of the TV series, we will not hesitate to update you.
Advances on the plot
Sex / Life is the story of a love triangle between a woman named Billie Connelly, her husband, and her sexual past. In fact, an ex of hers appears out of nowhere and sneaks into her life again and Billie can’t stop fantasizing about it. The protagonist is a woman with everything to lose, mother and wife, who sets out in search of that young and sexy single girl she once was. Billie embarks on a journey down the boulevard of memories that puts her present in collision with her wild past.
The first chapter ended with a shock ending for Billie, potentially opening up to a season 2 for Sex / Life. After reconciling with her husband, it seems that everything is finally going well. But suddenly, the protagonist has a sort of revelation: she realizes that what she has managed to obtain is not enough for her and so she runs into Brad’s arms, making it clear, however, that she intends not to leave her husband. Cooper tracks his wife’s location on her cell phone and figures out what’s going on.
We don’t actually know Brad’s response to Billie’s proposal. The music producer had initially thought of a different scenario, asking her to marry him. In this regard, showrunner Stacy Rukeyser told TVLine :
I’m not sure Brad will say yes or no. But that’s what we hope to have the opportunity to explore in Season 2.
