Fantasy Football Streamers and Dreamers, week-7

Not sure which players are contenders or pretenders in week-7 of the NFL? Here are your Fantasy Football streamers and dreamers brought to you by the ‘Hotheadz.’

As we roll into week-7 of the 2019 NFL season, some of you may be in desperate need of a player or two to bolster your roster. Let’s start with fantasy football streamers, favorable matchups at specific positions for this week.

Fantasy Football STREAMERS; Players you can stream in Week-7

QUARTERBACK – JARED GOFF vs ATLANTA FALCONS

Last year, the LA Rams were one of the premier offenses in the NFL. If you owned any piece of that offense, you were likely happy with starting that player week in and week out.  This year the Rams have been having a much tougher go of it. Jared Goff has seemingly taken a step back and hasn’t been as effective as he was last year. Luckily for Goff, the Rams are getting the best matchup for any quarterback when they take on the Atlanta Falcons. Atlanta’s defense is absolutely inept right now. Expect McVay and Goff to look for a get right game after a tough home loss to division leader San Fransisco.

RUNNING BACK –  JOSH JACOBS vs GREEN BAY PACKERS

The first running back selected in the 2018 draft has been playing pretty well lately.  Jacobs was able to put up 140 all-purpose

yards and 2 touchdowns versus a very stout Chicago defense in London two weeks ago. Now fresh off a bye week, the Raiders have a tough matchup on the road versus Green Bay. Although overall the Packers defense is playing much better, the one weakness they have shown is defending the run. I look for Chuckie to manage Aaron Rodgers by keeping the ball with his offense. That means long sustained drives through running the football.

WIDE RECEIVER – AUDEN TATE vs JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

The Bengals continued their race to the bottom last week when they were manhandled by the Ravens. One of the few positives for this team has been the emergence of Auden Tate who is the only wideout worth considering from Cincinnati. AJ Green is still likely another week or two away and Tyler Boyd has not been producing like he was last year. As far as Jacksonville is concerned, until Jalen Ramsey returns from his nonsense, the Jaguars pass defense is just ordinary. The hope here is the game script and lack of options may lead to fantasy production for Tate.

TIGHT END – HUNTER HENRY vs TENNESSEE TITANS

One of the surprising actives last week was Hunter Henry. Playing in the Sunday night game, most fantasy owners choose to start other, safer options in lieu of Henry who was not a sure thing. This ended becoming a mistake as Henry was a huge part of LA’s comeback attempt ending the night with two touchdowns and 8 receptions for 100 yards. He now becomes a must-start tight end until the next injury.
