A recent “feud” between cast members of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The Office has left some wondering if a crossover is in the works.
A recent video posted by Always Sunny frontman and creator Rob McElhenny on the set of Dunder Mifflin has sparked rumors of a crossover with The Office. Chances are that this could just be a spoof episode for the upcoming 14th season of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Longtime Office front man Steve Carell did fans no favors by calling for an end to the “feud” between both shows. This prompted a response from McElhenny to take the whole crossover idea a step further. Forget an episode, what about a crossover series?
SCRANTON IS ONLY A HUNDRED AND TWENTY MILES AWAY FROM PHILADELPHIA. @SteveCarell THIS WORKS. WHO WANTS IT MORE – @fxnetworks @nbc @netflix @hulu?? The bidding shall begin at five hundred million dollars. https://t.co/PWsgfnhaul

Rumors of an Office revival have been swirling for years now and with the announcement that the show would be lifted from Netflix in 2021, fans could use a crossover episode (or series) more than ever before.
A recent report by the Washington Post named The Office the most watched television show on Netflix. This paired with the cult status Always Sunny has enjoyed would make a crossover the greatest TV marriage possibly ever.

What’s more, when you consider that Always Sunny and The Office take place just 125 miles apart, there’s literally nothing (but money and complicated scheduling issues) keeping this from happening.
