Marvel has announced that a TV series starring Moon Knight, starring Oscar Isaac, will debut on Disney +. The show will be exclusive to the streaming platform. Although we don’t know too many details yet, let’s find out more about the alleged release date.
Disney + premiered on November 12, 2019, in the United States and March 2020 in Italy. Marc Spector, Moon Knight’s alter ego, was born in Chicago, Illinois, and is a mercenary, marine, and boxer. A man named Raoul Bushman hires him to work as a mercenary in Egypt, along with a group formed by Dr. Peter Alraune and his daughter Marlene. In the midst of the expedition, the team finds the statue of the Egyptian god Khonshu, but the mercenary Bushman kills Dr. Alraune. The man also hits Marc Spector and leaves him dying in the middle of the desert of Egypt.
It is the Egyptians who find the now lifeless body of the future Moon Knight, who decide to bring it in front of the Khonshu statue: here Spector dies, but only apparently. The god Khonshu appears to man in a vision, asking him to become a warrior on earth. Spector accepts this second chance and chooses to get justice by defeating Bushman. Later he returns to the USA and from here begins the vigilante story of Marc Spector, who after creating costumes and weapons becomes Moon Knight.

Just like the TV series on Scarlet and Vision, the one on Loki, the one on Falcon and Winter Soldier, and the fourth on Hawkeye, the one on Moon Knight will make its debut on the Disney + streaming platform. In fact, the company created by Walt Disney has now launched a competing website to Netflix in early 2020, where it is possible to draw on a huge catalog of films and TV series.
