The director of cult Quentin Tarantino has said he is ready to end his career at the top of their game. He has said that he does not want to exceed more than 10 films on his resume and, so far, has filled his filmography with nine entries, the latest of which is “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”

While the presenter said he was too young to stop and “at the top of the game” Quentin Tarantino replied: “That is exactly why I want to quit smoking. Because I know the history of cinema, from this stage to the end directors do not get better.”

Quentin Tarantino also said that he has “given everything he had” in film, since the beginning of his career with Reservoir Dogs, released in 1992. Furthermore, the director did not follow the films, having made only nine films in thirty years. In fact, his tenth feature film will be his last according to his words.

When is Quentin Tarantino’s new book coming out?

At the moment, we don’t see Quentin Tarantino behind the camera yet, but he will soon be in bookstores starting August 18, for the written adaptation of his latest film. The editions of Fayard already describe it as “a novel of incredible virtuosity.”

He also compares his career to Don Siegel’s, saying, “If he had quit his career in 1979, when he made Escape from Alcatraz, what a final movie! What a mic drop. But he haggles with two others, ”referring to the ill-received Jinxed and Rough Cut.

Despite approaching retirement at a younger age, Tarantino seems keenly aware of his impact as a reputable filmmaker, and he’s definitely eager to keep it that way and come out strong.

Quentin Tarantino will reboot Reservoir Dogs?
