After chief Michael Bay betrayed the “Transformers” establishment, it was at first muddled how things would go on. Then, at that point, Paramount authoritatively reported two additional parts.

After “Transformers 5: The Last Knight” disillusioned in the cinematic world in 2017, the 6th part was on the verge for quite a while. For quite a long time, clashing explanations about the fate of the series have been coursing. Studio Paramount and toy producer Hasbro appear to have at last agreed. As announced by The Hollywood Reporter, two additional parts are anticipated the Autobots. James Vanderbilt, who composed the screenplay for David Fincher’s chronic executioner film “Zodiac”, and “John Wick 3” maker Joby Harold was employed to compose the content.

Will “Transformers 6” be a reboot?

In April 2019, in an interview with Slash Film, it emerged that director Michael Bay (“6 Underground”) had finally left the “Transformers” series to tackle new projects. Producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura also announced that any sequels will no longer be linked to Part 5.

This is in line with older rumors that toymaker Hasbro would rather develop a new story in the universe after the success of the spin-off “Bumblebee”. The two new “Transformers” parts will not be sequels in the strict sense of the word. It is still unclear whether they will remake the story of the first parts with Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox or tell something completely new. We just know that the relentless battle between the “good” Autobots and the “bad” Decepticons will continue to be at the center. In return, that means that we can count on a completely different line-up and that Mark Wahlberg is no longer there either.

Will the new “Transformers” parts and “Bumblebee” be linked?

“Bumblebee” was quite successful with worldwide revenues of over 450 million US dollars and was also able to enjoy the best average reactions of a “Transformers” film at all. Accordingly, a continuation would be quite conceivable. Since the film is set in the 80s, “Bumblebee 2” could build a bridge to our time, where the latest “Transformers” film could then play afterward. Since Optimus Prime and the other Autobots have already landed on earth at the end of “Bumblebee”, the restart could start right there and take a little of the 80s and 90s nostalgia wave with you. Financially, that would certainly not be the worst lever for the reboot.
