Disney+ has announced a new Black Panther series based on the kingdom of Wakanda, and it will feature ‘The Walking Dead’ actor Danai Gurira.

Marvel Universe is constantly getting bigger at Disney+ with each passing day. After, WandaVision, Falcon & The Winter Soldier, and Loki, the production house which gave birth to characters like Captain America, Iron Man, has now announced a new series based on the kingdom of Wakanda.

The Show Will Star Danai Gurira:

Gurira will portray the role of Okoye, the same she played in ‘Black Panther’, ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame’. She is famous for her role as Doa Milaje in the MCU. Directed by Ryan Coogler, the show will be an origin story that takes place before the events of Captain America: Civil War and Black Panther.

A Release Date Is Not Yet Confirmed!

The show has been recently announced and the path of production will consume a lot of time. It is not clear if the show will be a part of Marvel Phase 4, or Marvel Phase 5. The series ” Loki ” will start in June 2022. ” Ms. Marvel ” and ” Hawkeye ” will follow at the end of the year. In addition, other movies are also starting.
